Rule 11
Work, Duties and Rights of Meat Inspector

(1) In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned in the Act, the other work, duties and rights of meat inspector shall be as follows:-
(a) To be present at the scheduled time for the operation of animal slaughterhouse,
(b) Antemortem examination of animals before slaughter,
(c) Testing and inspecting the meat after slaughtering the animal (d) If any unfit or diseased part or organ is found in the meat, removing or causing to be removed such part or organ,
(e) Stamping the meat in accordance with rule 15,
(f) To inspect the shops selling meat or the means of transporting meat,
(G) To keep the details of slaughtered animals in the format determined by the department (h) To inspect the cleanliness and disinfection of the animal slaughterhouse every day,
(j) To determine immediately whether the meat separated from the suspect is suitable for consumption,
(j) To dispose or dispose of meat and other perishable items that are not suitable for consumption, (k) At the end of every month, to submit the epidemiology report to the concerned supervisor,
(l) If the conditions to be followed by animal slaughterhouse operators and meat sellers are not met according to this regulation, to recommend action against the operators of such animal slaughterhouses and meat shops,
(d) To perform other duties assigned by the meat inspector.
(2) The meat inspector shall keep with him the materials, tools and equipment necessary for his work.
